Dr. Topoyame Moremong-Nganunu’s Short Bio Dr. Topoyame Moremong-Nganunu (BA, MA, MBA, PhD) is a Botswana national who has taught and consulted throughout Africa, the Middle East and the world in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship. As a lecturer and facilitator, she has taught and facilitated a wide range of courses at different institutions. At the Institute of Development Management in Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland, she coordinated and taught Purchasing and Supply Chain Management courses, working in collaboration with Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management in the UK. She also worked for the University of Botswana’s Center for Continuing Education (CCE) as a lecturer. At CCE, she coordinated several short courses including the International Labor Organization’s entrepreneurship training program. In Australia, she taught entrepreneurship and business management courses at Swinburne University of Technology, Monash University and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Dr. Moremong-Nganunu has currently come back from an assignment with the Department of Management, at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat, Oman where she taught entrepreneurship courses at graduate and undergraduate levels as an Assistant Professor for six and half years. Prior to that, she had been a Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Business and Economics at the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain, UAE. Her PhD research title is: ‘Entrepreneurship education in developing countries: an evaluation of the United Nations Entrepreneurship Program in Botswana. Dr. Moremong-Nganunu has wide experience in working with small and medium scale entrepreneurs which she obtained from government and private organizations in Botswana and South Africa. She worked at the Botswana Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry as a Senior Business Advisor and at the office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as an Senior Administrative Manager with 40 staff under her. She has over twenty years of experience in human resources development and productivity enhancement of small and medium-scale enterprises. She has organized and facilitated entrepreneurial workshops for women and youth in southern Africa. She worked in collaboration with organizations such as Women in Management in Sweden, the Commonwealth Youth Program in the U.K, and the German Agency for Technical Corporation in Germany. She also worked with the United Nations’ agencies, such as the International Labor Organization and the International Trade Center in Geneva. Some of Recent activities: • Facilitated at the Entrepreneurship Gear – Start-up course by Oman Chamber of Commerce,sponsored by the EU in 2017 • Facilitated at Training of Trainers: Build Your Business by Microsoft & International Youth Foundation in 2017 • Taught a short course, the Training of Trainers in SMEs at TAWASUL a Non-profit organization in Oman in 2017 • Invited by RMIT University to be part of the African Community – Business literacy and entrepreneurial skills training program for women in 2018
